K-pop girl group BLACKPINK has shared the dance practice video for their explosive new hit “DDU-DU DDU-DU.” The video shows the four members – Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rosé – dressed in athletic wear while they carry out the song’s choreography. The group previously performed the song on Korean music shows ‘Music Core’ and ‘SBS Inkigayo’ as part of their 2018 comeback.
Released on June 15th, “DDU-DU DDU-DU” achieved a “perfect all-kill” on Korean music charts just a day after its release. To achieve a “perfect all-kill” status, a song must top all real time and daily charts. On June 17th, the song’s music video also broke a record for being the fastest video to achieve 50 million views by a K-pop girl group.
Along with “Forever Young,” “Really” and “See U Later,” “DDU-DU DDU-DU” comes from BLACKPINK’s new Square Up mini album. The project was highly-anticipated by fans since it was the first time they heard new music from the group since their 2017 hit “As If It’s Your Last.”
