Okay, let’s be honest, does Blake Lively ever get it wrong when it comes to fashion?
On Saturday afternoon, she wowed spectators at the BFG premiere during Cannes Film Festival in a blue gown which looked like it was made for Cinderella herself.
Lively, who is expecting her second child with her husband Ryan Reynolds, showcased her baby bump on the red carpet but didn’t let the fact that she was expecting prevent her from shining. We went totally heart eyes when we caught a glimpse of her virtually strapless, sparkling dress! The floor-length gown garment, which was scattered with sequins, had a thigh-high split and extensive trail, stood out easily against the red carpet and surely caused onlookers’ jaws to drop. Blake Lively manages to look like a model simply walking down the street so we thought it would be a hard task for her to surpass herself on the red carpet, however, we thought wrong.
Lively also teamed her statement dress with strappy silver shoes and glistening, diamond jewellery, all of which complemented her regal look to perfection. As for make-up, she kept it natural with a nude lip and healthy, tanned complexion, along with a slight shimmer on her eyes. Her hair was swept back into a wavy ponytail, ensuring the focus was entirely on her azure frock.
Blake Lively evidently stole the show during this premiere and every photographer was eager to capture her beauty as she posed up a storm in front of the cameras. We’re looking forward to seeing what gem she’s going to pull out of her closet for her next red carpet event already!
