If you were a teenager in the Noughties then there is no doubt that you will have heard of Blazin’ Squad. The British hip-hop group was made up of 10 members: Melo-d, Krazy, Spike-e, Reepa, Rocky B, Strider, Flava, Freek, Tommy B, and of course, Kenzie – and they were a pretty big deal!
Fondly remembered for their debut single, “Crossroads”, which rocketed straight to the number one spot in the UK singles chart in 2002; the boys are back with a special one-off reunion show at London’s famous venue – KOKO.
The hotly anticipated show will take place on Sunday 26th November, so that gives you plenty of time to swot up on those lyrics (But let’s be honest; you never really forget, do you!?). Seven of the ten original members will be reuniting for this special show.
Announcing the exciting news on popular breakfast show Good Morning Britain; the one-off gig comes from recent calls from fans begging Blazin’ Squad to reform following one particular band member featuring in the nation’s favourite reality TV show – Love Island. Marcel Somerville, better known by die-hard “Blazers” as “Rocky B”, stole the hearts of the British public, and won the heart of fellow Love Island contestant Gabby Allen by showing the nation what it means to be a true gentleman.

And if the revelation of a Blazin’ Squad show wasn’t exciting enough, Marcel has also recently announced that he will be releasing solo material as well as a book titled “Dr. Marcel’s Little Book of Big Love”, which is available to pre-order right now! Something tells us the boys are going to be pretty busy!
