Bob admitted live on an Irish radio station this week, that he was not that surprised when Peaches passed away at a young age.
Lack of surprise or not he is still heartbroken due to the loss of his daughter. He explains that she is always in his thoughts: ‘she is the one who is with me every second of the day and she is the one who bangs into my consciousness at any moment, especially in any down moment… where I’m not doing something. She’s very present.’
Bob did not wish it to happen but when the unfortunate passing of his daughter arrived he was able to understand it: ‘Part of me kind of half-expected [it with] Peaches, to be honest with you – the way she was carrying on, there’s nothing you can do about it.’
He made it clear that just because he saw it coming; it did not make it any easier to accept it. Bob said: ‘Time does not heal, it accommodates. But it is not accommodating this.’
