Producer duo BONNIE X CLYDE (consisting of singer-songwriter Bonnie and producer Daniel Clyde) has just released their latest single, “Bad Behavior”.

“Bad Behavior” is a dark, bassy, midtempo trap and electro-influenced pop song that lyrically sees Bonnie take the lead, as she introduces the listeners to the relationship she has with her partner while inviting her lover to join her in behaving rebelliously. Sonically, the song takes inspiration from the likes of Evanescence frontwoman Amy Lee and Sia. The song was described by Billboard as “bass-heavy but sultry, the sonic equivalent of a femme fatale”.

The duo says that with the track, they wanted to take listeners to a “new world”.

“We’re redefining what it means to BONNIE X CLYDE,” they said.

“We want to take you into a new world, OUR world, and express the fundamental truths of life, the battles, the achievements, the good and the bad emotions.

“It all creates the story of us. This song marks the clarity and a huge change in our lives – a time when we finally decided to say f*** everything and be our rawest, most authentic selves.”

“It’s about time we step into our power and take control. It’s about sharing all sides of you, even the things people might not want to hear or see.”

“Because that’s what we want – we want raw, blood, sweat, tears, unfiltered, bad behavior.“

BONNIE X CLYDE released their debut EP, Wanted, in 2017, and experienced success with the EP’s lead single, “Bass Jam”, which spent seven weeks at #1 on Sirius XM. Both Spotify and Apple Music noted the duo as an act to look out for, and they also performed with Skrillex for their first-ever tour, as well as playing festivals such as EDC Las Vegas, Global Dance Fest and Moonrise Festival.

Following on from the release of their second EP, While We’re Young, in 2018, the two have signed a record deal with Ultra Records, with “Bad Behavior” being their first release on this new label. This is only just the beginning of their deal with the label – they have more new music coming very soon and we can’t wait to hear more from this talented duo!
