Criminal Minds was such an amazing experience. I had so much fun shooting the episode and being with the cast! It was so fun to be in an episode Matthew Gray Gubler directed too!
Yes! Bethany (Criminal Minds). She was a very fun character to tackle. Stakes were high in that episode which required me to be very emotional. It’s always fun to push myself.
I remember as a kid when I found a movie I liked I would be obsessed with trying to play that character. It’s always been a passion of mine.
Tour was amazing! The schools and students had so much energy. It was also a great learning experience for me as a performer. Seeing how my peers responded to my music was awesome.
Your first EP, Beginner’s Love, was released earlier this year! What is your favorite song off of that EP and why?
My favorite song off my EP is “Numb.” I love how intense the beat it. It’s a song everyone can relate to. Wanting to not let someone or something have power over you anymore is basically what the song is saying and that’s why I like it so much.
My journey with T1D has been really hard. My life changed completely. Learning about my disease and how it specifically effects my body has been challenging. I’m getting better and learning new things all the time. I would tell other people with T1D that no matter how long you’ve had it, it can feel very lonely when you’re the only one having to take a few extra steps to eat and make sure you’re healthy. Make sure you surround yourself with a great support system. Family and friends help me through everything.
I plan on continuing to work hard at my acting and singing career. I have a few small things in the works that I hope to share with y’all soon!
