Fresh from finishing in fifth place in the most recent series of ‘The X Factor,’ Brendan Murray has announced his debut headline tour, which will see him performing in venues around the UK & Ireland.
Taking to his official Instagram account, the talented musician shared news of the tour with his dedicated legion of followers.
The eight-date tour will kick off in Newcastle, before travelling to other UK cities such as Glasgow and Birmingham, before finishing the tour with three dates in his native of Ireland, wrapping up the tour with a headline show in home town of Galway.

Sunday 23 June 2019 – Glasgow, Classic Grand;
Monday 24 June 2019 – London, Camden Assembly;
Wednesday 26 June 2019 – Birmingham, Castle and Falcon;
Friday 28 June 2019 – Belfast, Oh Yeah Centre;
Saturday 29 June 2019 – Dublin, Grand Social;
Sunday 30 June 2019 – Galway, Town Hall.
From his first audition on ‘The X Factor,’ Brendan Murray impressed with his vocals and at the Six Chair Challenge, his mentor Louis Tomlinson gave him a safe seat – meaning he definitely was through to the next round of the competition.
As the competition progressed and the Live Shows began, viewers saw Brendan grow in confidence and his performances each week were fantastic. He finished in fifth place overall – an exceptional achievement for him!
Since coming off the show, he was a part of ‘The X Factor Live Tour’ alongside several other contestants from the competition and has shared on his social media accounts that he has been working hard on his own original music. No doubt the tour will provide him with the opportunity to showcase some of his original music, while also performing some popular covers from his time on the show.
