Bruno Mars has just burst back onto the scene with his latest single; 24K Magic. The song is to be featured on his highly anticipated upcoming album, the first since his 2012 hit, Unorthodox Jukebox. So to allow you all to organise your excitement, here’s everything we know about it so far.
- 24K Magic: Three years since his last single, Bruno dropped this phenomenal tune and blew us all away. The song combines hip-hop, funk and disco along with a dazzling video and the final product makes the perfect party anthem and automatically goes to the top of our playlists.
Prior to the release of this single, it was suspected that the album would be released in early 2017. However, Bruno has confirmed that the album is ready and the release date is set at November 18th.
- Collaborations: Mars definitely has to be credited for his ability to keep a secret since we know very little about who is to feature on his album. So far, Skrillex seems likely to make an appearance, commenting that the album “sounds like nothing else that’s happened before.” Now if Skrillex is a definite feature, then the album may have the classic electronic feel that Skrillex brings. It is also a possibility that Mars worked with Miss Elliott and once again, with Mark Ronson.
- SNL: To promote the album, Mars is set to appear on Saturday night live on October 15th. It is certain that he will be performing 24K Magic but if all our prayers come true, we may get a glimpse into his album if he premiers a song from it.
