When the artists we admire share their vulnerabilities with us it can become something special. This is something global K-pop group BTS has been able to do since their debut back in 2013. BTS is a South Korean boy group of seven talented members: RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. BTS connects with their fans, named Army, not only as artist to fan but also on a human to human level. Their YouTube Red original series titled “Burn the Stage”, a documentary released on March 28th, 2018, shows the person behind the artist and dives deeper into each member’s way of thought.

The series follows them on their sold-out 2017 BTS Live Trilogy Episode: The Wings Tour, as they share their journey that includes happy and fun footage, but also their hardships individually and as a group. The series allows us to connect with them with relatability, as they share their hopes for the future and the fears that come with doubt. This continued human connection is what makes their music and message of self-love even more profound.

As we watch them unveil who they are to the world, we can learn from them and let go of the fear of showing who we truly are as well. They share with us a window to see behind fame, and it reveals that no matter how high up we go there is still so much to learn from ourselves and the world around us.

CelebMix celebrates anything that inspires and spreads positivity into the world. We definitely recommend watching “Burn the Stage” on YouTube Red, and wish BTS good health and continued success.
