Jeon Jungkook of BTS has officially been nominated for TC Candler’s annual “100 Most Handsome Faces of 2018” list. The South Korean singer was a nominee last year as well, coming in at #13.
The “100 Most Handsome Faces of 2018” list by TC Candler recognizes some of the world’s most handsome male celebrities, while the “100 Most Beautiful Faces of 2018” list recognizes some of the world’s most beautiful female celebrities. Fans choose the nominees by visiting TC Candler’s official YouTube page and commenting who they think fit the page’s criteria, which includes “aesthetic perfection,” as well as “grace, elegance, originality, daring, passion, class, poise, joy, promise, hope,” according to last year’s competition.
Jeon Jungkook nearly made the list’s top ten last year, placing #13 overall. Fellow BTS members Park Jimin and Kim Taehyung were also nominated last year. Park Jimin came in at #64, while Kim Taehyung claimed the list’s #1 spot, ultimately being crowned “The Most Handsome Face of 2017.” Due to winning last year’s competition, Kim Taehyung is automatically nominated for the list this year. As well as Jeon Jungkook and Kim Taehyung, BTS member Kim Seokjin is also nominated for the 2018 competition.
Jungkook’s nomination comes just one day after he made Starmometer’s top “100 Asian Heartthrobs of 2018” list, where he ranked at #31. Park Jimin, Kim Seokjin and Kim Taehyung also made the list, coming in at #33, #46, and #1.
