    BTS Slays Performance on Mnet’s Comeback Show

    On September 21st, K-Pop group BTS had their official comeback with Mnet, where they performed several songs from their new album Love Yourself: Her. Fans from across the world had the chance to watch BTS’ comeback through a worldwide live broadcast.

    BTS opened their highly-anticipated performance with “I Need U,” a track from their 2015 album The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Pt. 1. The group then proceeded to perform new songs “Mic Drop,” “Go Go,” and “DNA,” from their new album, as well as their debut song “No More Dream.”

    Their performance had been teased throughout the week with short clips from Viki, showing the members hanging out in their rooms reminding fans to watch the show. Fans were finally able to see the full clips on the ‘BTS Comeback Show,’ which included the guys giving a tour of their rooms/studios. The guys also reflected on their global success since their debut, and thanked fans numerous times for their support throughout the years.

    BTS’ album Love Yourself: Her dropped on Monday, September 18th, as well as the music video for lead single “DNA.” Since then, the album has already broken several records, including reaching the #1 spot on the iTunes charts in 73 countries, while “DNA” topped the iTunes charts in 29 countries.

    The music video for “DNA” also surpassed 20 million views in just under 21 hours, making it the fastest K-Pop video to pass this milestone. The video also made the list of “most viewed online videos in the first 24 hours,” taking the 11th spot, behind Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s remix of “Despacito” featuring Justin Bieber.
