BTS Reaches 10 Million Followers on Twitter

As of November 12th, K-Pop group BTS has surpassed 10 million followers on Twitter, exactly one month after reaching 9 million followers on October 12th. The achievement makes BTS’ account (@BTS_twt) the first Korean account to reach the 10-million mark.

Twitter Korea (@TwitterKorea) congratulated the group by posting an infographic showing BTS’ incredible journey to the milestone. The account also announced that fans can celebrate using the hashtag #LoveBTS10M, which will generate a custom emoji inspired by BTS’ logo.

Immediately after the account reached 10 million followers, the guys of BTS came on Twitter and individually posted GIFs of themselves with the hashtag #LoveBTS10M. Take a look below.

The group also came together to post a short clip, showing off their new Twitter award. They also thanked their fanbase, the ARMY, for helping them reach the milestone.

BTS’ latest achievement comes just days before the group is scheduled to make their debut U.S. performance at the American Music Awards on Sunday, November 19th, where they will perform hit single “DNA” from their album Love Yourself: Her.
