After making history on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin Eve, BTS is now ringing in the new year by releasing their first mobile app called “SUPERSTAR BTS,” a rhythm game that will include the group’s music in its challenges. Although there is no set date for the app’s release, fans can pre-register now on the app’s official website.
BTS made the exciting announcement through a YouTube video, where they described “SUPERSTAR BTS” as a game that is “awesome” and “really fun to play.” As well as including their own songs, the app will also have “in-game card images” of BTS, described by the members themselves as “beautiful.”
The group also added that fans who pre-register will get a special reward.

A similar game was released four years ago, titled “SUPERSTAR SMTOWN,” which featured over 300 songs from various artists under S.M. Entertainment. What makes BTS’ app special is that it will focus solely on the group and their music alone.
The news comes just as an alternative universe game titled “BTS Outcast” went viral on Twitter.
