BTS Releases ‘Serendipity’ Comeback Trailer For Upcoming ‘Her’ Album

As fans await their highly-anticipated album Love Yourself: Her, BTS has released a comeback trailer titled ‘Serendipity,’ featuring member Jimin on vocals. This is a change since in their previous comeback trailers, rappers J-Hope and Suga were featured, rather than the singers.

The new video arrives just as the group’s website changed to a countdown last night. Fans had formed different theories for when the timer reached zero, such as the release of their tracklist, a mixtape, or even concept photos. However, when the timer ran out, their website displayed a YouTube link to the comeback trailer instead.

    What will happen if it strikes 00:00:00? Can't wait? https://t.co/ofOdHaZJtk #btscountdown pic.twitter.com/QYJY4hYvJG

    Bighit could drop:

    – Short Films
    – Concept Photos
    – MV Teaser
    – Hixtape
    – Tracklist

Love Yourself: Her is a mini album that is part of the Love Yourself series. The group first teased this new era with highlight reels last month. For the first time with this album, BTS’s music label, Big Hit Entertainment, will be releasing the group’s music through Amazon. This will make it easier for fans outside of South Korea to get their hands on the album by eliminating the need for expensive shipping costs. It will also be the first time purchases will count towards Hanteo, Gaon, and Billboard charts.

As of August 31st, the number of pre-orders for Love Yourself has reached over 1 million copies, making BTS the first K pop group to do so.
