There is no stopping the Bangtan Boys a.k.a BTS this year as they have just won another major award and it’s only February! They won the Musician of the Year (MOTY) award at the 2018 Korean Music Awards and, yet again, scored another first.

BTS are the first K-Pop group ever to have won this award, which is judged and voted for by music critics as well as other industry professionals. This is an important milestone for the members as this award recognizes their artistry as musicians as well as their social impact, not only in South Korea but internationally.

BTS did not attend the award show, however they did share their feelings on winning MOTY on Twitter:

Their fandom, b.k.a ARMY, also took to Twitter to express their joy and excitement for BTS’ win. Check out some of these lovely tweets:

Just imagine how it feels to not just be another “boy band” from Korea. But to be MUSICIAN OF THE YEAR from Korea. I can’t even imagine how they feel, but all I can say is I’m so proud of them, they truly deserve this and worked so hard to get here?#BTS_MusicianOTY #BTS_KMA pic.twitter.com/Ayenw4M1bm

The boys of BTS could potentially add more firsts to their list as they are nominated for two iHeart Radio Music Awards and if they win those they will be the first K-Pop group to do so. We’ll find out on March 11th if their winning streak continues (we certainly hope so!).

Congratulations Bangtan Boys on another historic achievement! Keep making and breaking new records!

BTS ARMY, share your excitement and joy with us @CelebMix!
