With The Tony Awards right around the corner, CBS’s “The Late Late Show with James Corden” is once again impeccable with their timing and cultural relevance. This Monday night (June 6th), they will be releasing their Broadway-themed Carpool Karaoke.
The bit will start out with Lin-Manuel Miranda (creator and star of Hamilton) joining James Corden in his Range Rover, and then later the duo will be joined by three other Broadway stars (Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Audra McDonald, and Jane Krakowski). Pictures were leaked a few weeks ago of Corden and Miranda in a car together (see below), but the surprise guests were not known of until The Late Late Show released this tweet earlier this week:

James Corden, who is quickly becoming a household name in America, will be hosting the 70th annual Tony Awards on CBS this upcoming Sunday, June 12th at 8pm EST. Lin-Manuel Miranda and his show Hamilton have received a record-breaking 16 nominations. This year’s Tony Awards is expected to be the most viewed in the event’s history. With all eyes on him, we can’t wait to see what Corden will deliver! I’m sure tomorrow night’s Carpool Karaoke will be a small taste of what is in store.
