2015 was an adventurous year for 5 Seconds of Summer, including award show appearances, an album release, a world arena tour, opening up for the Japan leg of One Direction’s On The Road Again Tour, announcing a second world tour, an EP release, multiple music videos, and more.
With their second world tour happening this year, we have decided to take a step back and look at bassist Calum Hood’s backstage moments!
5. His Snapchat’s
Although 5sos did not have their Snapchat for the Rock Out With Your Socks Out Tour, they did have one for the iHeart Radio Jingle Ball shows last December, and the backstage Snapchats were some of the best parts of the show!
Calum is one of the members who is more active on the app and we love his 10-second life updates. Hopefully this year, we will have an, even more, Snapchat filled tour.
4. Livestreams
It’s not very often that 5sos fans get a live stream that isn’t watching someone paint a wall for a few hours. The few times a year where we get a fun video, Calum is always goofing off backstage and just enjoying the moment.
We would totally be down for a few live streams of Calum and the boys kicking it backstage before or after a show!
3. His hair changes
The boys of 5sos seem to change their hair often. We’ve seen Calum appear one day with a blonde streak, we’ve seen a quiff, a buzz cut and more!
Who knows what we will be able to expect from him for the next year?
2. Tattoos, tattoos, and more tattoos
It’s not uncommon to see a young band tatted up these days, 5 Seconds of Summer included. Calum has a few tattoos with meanings close to him.
Perhaps by the end of Sounds Live Feels Live, he’ll have a bit more ink on him.
1. Pre-concert posts
On any of his bands or on his personal social media accounts, pre-concert posts are amazing! They get everyone hyped up and in the mood for the upcoming show. Calum included, with pre-show Tweets, selfies, pictures, and everything in between.
With a whole world tour ahead of us, we can only imagine the posts we will be getting this year!
