Calum Scott wants us to show him how we’re feeling! After watching the handsome singer’s newly released ‘Rhythm Inside’ video, we’re feeling nothing but love!
The rising star premiered the official visuals for his latest single ‘Rhythm Inside’ earlier and they’re everything we were hoping for. Directed by Howard Greenhalgh, the video sees Calum surrounded by couples sharing a loving gaze and warm embrace.
With glistening synths and heartfelt lyrics, the song itself is about falling in love. It’s the first original material we’ve heard from Calum and it was produced by Fraser T Smith. Calum co-wrote the feel good tune with Corey Sanders and Cutfather.
Explaining the meaning of ‘Rhythm Inside’, Calum said: “The concept is about those feelings you have when you meet that special person. I see it as the exciting inner journey you go through – I imagine the blood rushing through your veins, your hair standing on end, and the flutters you have in your belly. Most people have had that feeling about someone at some point and it’s nice to be able to write something hopeful.”
‘Rhythm Inside’ is available here on iTunes. It follows Calum’s hugely successful debut single ‘Dancing On My Own‘ which recently surpassed one million sales in the UK.
Following the release of his first two singles, Calum plans to share his debut album with the world this spring. The LP is currently untitled but we’ll post more details as soon as they’re revealed. We’re sure the record is going to nothing but incredible.
To promote his new music, Calum will be playing his biggest ever headline show at KOKO in London on the 14th March. He’ll also be performing to a sold-out crowd in his hometown Hull on the 2nd March. Both concerts are set to be extremely special.
