After debuting at number three last week, Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa have scored this week’s official UK number one single with their collaboration ‘One Kiss’.
In the process, the pair have scored the biggest number one of 2018 so far after notching up a total of 70,000 units (made up of 7.1 million streams and 22,000 downloads). ‘One Kiss’ knocks off Drake’s ‘Nice For What‘ after one week.
‘One Kiss’ is Dua Lipa’s second number one, following on from the smash hit ‘New Rules’, whilst it is Calvin’s ninth chart topper, making him the 11th artist in chart history to achieve nine or more UK number one singles.
Calvin’s previous number ones are: ‘I’m Not Alone’, ‘Dance Wiv Me with Dizzee Rascal, ‘Sweet Nothing’ with Florence Welch, ‘We Found Love’ with Rihanna, ‘Under Control’ with Alesso and Hurts, ‘Blame’ with John Newman, ‘Summer’, and ‘Feels’ with Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry and Big Sean.
Calvin and Dua delivered their first TV performance of ‘One Kiss’ on the Graham Norton show tonight.
