Camila Cabello To Take Time Out Before ‘Next Era’

Camila Cabello has announced she is to take time out from her career in preparation for her ‘next era’.

The ‘Havana’ singer took to Twitter to tell fans that after working non-stop for 6 years, the time was right to relax, rest and get inspired.

‘taking my first real break in 6 years’ Camila tweeted after playing her final scheduled tour date of the year at The Jingle Bell Ball in Chicago.

‘gonna get some rest and inspiration for the next era, I CAN’T WAIT’

Breakout Year, Breakout Star

2018 has been an unbelievably successful year for Camila Cabello following the release of her debut solo album ‘Camila’ back in January.

The record debuted at Number 1 on The Billboard Top 200 earning 119,000 album-equivalent units, with 65,000 coming from pure album sales, making her the youngest artist to top the chart with a debut album since Shawn Mendes’ 2015 debut ‘Handwritten’.

From there it’s been a year of non-stop promotion, touring, festival performances and award show appearances for the former Fifth Harmony star, who will quite rightly now enjoy some downtime over the holiday season.
