The shock news that US network ABC have decided to cancel the music drama Nashville has angered fans of the hit show and they have now started an online campaign on Twitter using the hashtag #BringBackNashville.
The fans, actors and writers along with Lionsgate who fund the drama are joining forces to try and get another channel to buy the show.
There is an online petition which has been set up by supporters of the show, where people can sign their name and publicly back the save Nashville movement.
The mayor of Nashville has even joined in with the protests as the show brings in great revenue to the city and also opens the country music market to a worldwide audience.
The musical drama which stars Hayden Panettiere has been aired in various countries for the past four years, sold out various tours, and has also charted with music from the TV soundtrack, so it has came as a huge surprise that ABC have decided to pull the plug.
Lionsgate have promised fans that they are doing everything in their power to find the TV show a new home for its fifth season and are currently in talks with various networks including AXS TV, CMT and Direct TV.
Make sure you follow @AddictedNashie and @LionsgateTV to keep up with everything the #BringBackNashville supporters are up to.
If the fans, actors, producers, directors and writers all pull together and really back the campaign there is a real chance that Nashville will be saved.
Keep tweeting the hashtag, tweeting TV companies and sharing the petition. Lets save Nashville.
