On July 27th, Cardi B announced to her 28.9 million Instagram followers that she will not be touring with Bruno Mars this coming fall because it wouldn’t be best for her and her baby, Kulture.

The singer also posted her announcement via Twitter and is getting a lot of support from both her fans and from Bruno Mars.

After just 6 weeks of giving birth to her newborn daughter, Kulture, Cardi B believed that she would still be able to tour with Bruno Mars on his ‘XXIVK Magic‘ world tour. Her original plan was to take her baby on the road with her, but after receiving concerns from doctors about the baby’s safety, Cardi B had come to the conclusion that it just wasn’t possible.

“I’m not ready to leave my baby behind…” she wrote in her Instagram post that now has over one million likes, “I have to do what’s best for myself and my baby!” Aww!

Shortly after Cardi B made her announcement, Bruno Mars posted a response showing his support for his “Finesse” collaborator. “Please give your baby girl a hug from me and a hug on behalf of everyone on the 24K Magic Tour.” he wrote along with other kind words, “I love you Cardi and we will play Bodak Yellow every night in your honor.”
