Carly Rae Jepsen’s latest album “The Loveliest Time” is a companion piece to her acclaimed 2022 record “The Loneliest Time“. This brand new album marks the third installment in her beloved B Side series and boasts twelve new tracks, including the recently released single “Shy Boy“. “The Loveliest Time” continues Carly Rae Jepsen’s tradition of offering introspective and effervescent works across her storied career.

Over the past ten months, Carly Rae Jepsen has poured her creative energy into the studio and a world tour, refining a collection of songs that were born in solitude. Collaborating with a team of trusted all-star producers, including John Hill, Patrik Berger, Rostam Batmanglij, and Kyle Shearer, Carly Rae Jepsen has crafted a multi-layered sonic landscape that showcases her most daring and uninhibited work to date.

“The Loveliest Time” expands upon the already mesmerising soundscapes present in her previous works, with “Stadium Love”, “Psychedelic Switch” and “Aeroplanes” being just some of the highlights off the record. Known for creating infectious anthems, Carly Rae Jepsen’s latest album is a joyful force of pop.

Carly Rae Jepsen has a history of gifting her fans with “B-sides” from previous albums like “Emotion” and “Dedicated”, featuring songs that didn’t make the final cut. After releasing “The Loneliest Time”, where she revealed having written over 100 songs for the album, fans eagerly anticipated a B-side record. Amidst the pandemic, Carly Rae Jepsen’s creativity flourished as she transformed an old office space in her Los Angeles residence into a home studio while on The Dedicated Tour in February 2020.
