YouTube star and actress Carrie Hope Fletcher, a.k.a ItsWayPastMyBedtime on YouTube, recently left the West End show Les Misérables after playing Eponine for over two years. Producers have now announced that she is join the UK tour cast of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!
The Ireland and UK tour kicked off on the 10th of February 2016 in the Mayflower Theatre, Southampton. Carrie played Jemima Potts in the original cast back in 2002 and called her YouTube channel after a line in the show which was “it’s way past your bedtime!”.
It has been announced that Carrie will be playing the role of Truly Scrumptious from May 4th until October 2nd.
We are so excited to hear that she is back in theatres very soon after spending some well-deserved rest with her boyfriend in Disney. We would like to take this time to wish her the best of luck for this role and congratulations on getting it! We know she will be amazing and can’t wait to see her play a new role in a show she used to be part of!
