Carrie Underwood took to social media this morning to announce not only the Cry Pretty Tour 360 but also that she and her husband, former Canadian ice hockey player, Mike Fisher, are expecting another child.
The couple already have a son, Isaiah Michael, aged 3. They are adding “another fish to their pond,” as Underwood put it.
Underwood’s new album, Cry Pretty, is releasing on September 14th, just ahead of her hosting the CMA Awards for the 11th time this November. But the tour doesn’t kick off until May 2019, due to her pregnancy. No one knows when the country singer is due just yet but fans can estimate based on her tour dates.
The tour begins May 1st in Greensboro, North Carolina and ends on October 31st in Detroit, Michigan., totaling 55 arenas across the U.S. and Canada.
Opening for her are country duo, Maddie and Tae, and country group, Runaway June. This all-female lineup is set to have audiences “Blown Away.”
The 360 aspect means a brand new stage in the middle of the arena floor that gives fans from all angles an intimate view of the concert.
Presale, which includes VIP packages, meet and greets, and more, begins on August 13th and tickets go on sale August 17th at 10 a.m. on her website. Citi cardmembers also have access to the presale starting at 12 p.m. on the 13th.
A donation of $1 from each ticket sale will go to Danita’s Children, a charity that creates a safe haven for abandoned and vulnerable children in Haiti. Also, with each ticket purchased online, fans can redeem a copy of her new album.
Underwood is also performing at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas on September 21st and 22nd, along with fellow country singer, Jason Aldean, and other big-name artists.
Congrats to the Fishers!
