Dragon Ball Super: Broly will hit theaters on January 16, 2019. The movie is part of the long-running Dragon Ball franchise, which started in 1984. Not only have fans seen the characters grow up, but the fans have grown up with the franchise as well. It seems that the franchise is only gaining more fans every day, especially with its Dragon Ball Super television show, which airs every Saturday on Toonami. Dragon Ball Super: Broly is a mixture of its old series and new, since it combines its Super characters with the fan-favorite villain, Broly.
The importance of the new film doesn’t stop there. Dragon Ball Super: Broly is the 20th film in the Dragon Ball franchise. To celebrate such a special occasion, the cast of the film, such as Sean Schemmel (Goku) and Christopher R. Sabat (Vegeta), Monica Rial (Bulma), Vic Mignogna (Broly), Jason Douglas (Beerus), Ian Sinclair (Whis) and Sonny Strait (Bardock) gathered at the historic TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles for the film’s premiere.
Several other actors, athletes and social influencers attended the premiere as well, including De’Aaron Fox and Willie Cauley-Stein (Sacramento Kings basketball players); Lonnie Chavas (This is Us); Single Parents stars Tyler Wladis, Mia & Ella Allan, Devin Trey Campbell and Kimrie Lewis; Diego Tinoco (On My Block), Jason David Frank (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), Emery Kelly (Alexa & Katie) and more.
