WHO
Halsey first burst onto the music scene in 2014 when she released her EP Room 93 after gaining success by posting covers online. She released her debut album Badlands in 2015, with much success. Her single “New Americana” was an instant hit, as well as her other singles. She went on her first headlining tour in 2015/2016, which was a success.
This year, Halsey has been extremely successful with her collaboration with The Chainsmokers. “Closer” stayed atop the Billboard Hot 100 for 12 weeks, and was in the top five for 26 weeks.
