Here at CelebMix, we love nothing more than introducing our readers to new, up and coming talent. In this particular article, we introduce you to the multi-talented Eden Prince.
Eden Prince’s career continues to go from strength to strength and he has truly come a long way, with his career kicking off when he was in university.
He explains that he isn’t inspired by other artists or musicians, but rather is inspired by ‘general life.’ In a video shared on his official Facebook page, he also explained that he can draw inspiration from the simple things in life.
His talent truly shines through in his releases and no doubt continued success lies in store for him! Most recently, he has released ‘Ain’t Thinkin’ Bout You,’ with pop duo KREAM and 2015 ‘X Factor’ winner Louisa Johnson.
CelebMix caught up with Eden Prince to talk about the new single ‘Ain’t Thinkin’ Bout You,’ his musical influences and more.
You’ve recently released your new single ‘Ain’t Thinkin’ Bout You,’ in conjunction with KREAM and Louisa. How does it feel to have the single released?
“It feels great! This record has been in the making for a number of months and I’m excited to finally put it out to the world.”
How did you discover your love for music?
“My earliest musical memory was when I was six years old in school. Once a week, the teachers would bring out percussion instruments for us to play with. It soon became my favourite thing about school and ever since then, I’ve always been passionate about playing and learning new instruments.”
Who are your musical influences?
“My influences are constantly evolving and spread across a wide range of genres. From a young age, the likes of Bob Marley and Stevie Wonder inspired me to want to make my own music and as I delved into the world of music production, artists such as Daft Punk, Kanye West and Quincy Jones have had a huge impact on my music.”
What does the rest of the year have in store for you music-wise? Will there be more music releases – additional singes/EP?
“After a number of high-profile remixes, I’ve started to focus fully on original music and I’m really excited to start putting more of it out in the coming months.”
Finally, do you have a message for those who support you?
“Thank you! I’m so grateful for the support that I get and without it, I wouldn’t be able to make the music that I love!”
