Electronic dance music trio Cheat Codes have teamed up with rising star Kim Petras for their new single ‘Feeling of Falling’.
The striking track captures the fear of entering into a relationship and falling in love after being hurt in the past. Kim hooks you instantly with her stand out vocals, whilst Cheat Codes deliver another infectious production which is pleasant to the ear. This is a collaboration we didn’t know we needed, but we’re not afraid to fall in love with Cheat Codes, Kim, and their relatable anthem.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the track, Cheat Codes’ Matt Russell said: “The feeling of falling in love is great but it’s hard not to think about or compare it to past experiences of heart break. It puts you in a really vulnerable place. It can be the best thing but also the worst.”
Adding her thoughts about the track, Kim said: “‘Feeling of Falling’ is a song about ending up broken hearted and trying to stay away from love to protect yourself. I’m the biggest emo so I really connected to the song! Cheat Codes are amazing and I’ve had the best time collaborating on this one.”
