As Cheryl Returns to X Factor Tonight We Take A Look Back at Her Live X Factor Performances

Tonight will finally see the return of Geordie superstar Cheryl to The X Factor. The 34-year-old mother-of-one hasn’t appeared on the ITV show since she mentored Ghanaian duo Reggie ‘N’ Bollie into second place back in 2015. But this evening she will return to help Simon Cowell at the Judges Houses section.

The brunette beauty who welcomed baby boy, Bear into the world back in March, will be using her past experience of being part of the UK’s most successful girl band Girls Aloud by helping Cowell pick three groups for the live-shows. The segment was filmed earlier this month in Nice.

And to get you in the mood for Cheryl’s explosive return we take a look back at her electric live X Factor performances;

1: 2008 – The Promise

Nine years ago during her first ever stint as a judge on X Factor, Cheryl took to the stage to  perform as part of Girls Aloud. During the stellar performance the girls belted out their number 1 smash-hit single ‘The Promise’ much to the delight of the live audience and millions of TV viewers;

2: 2009 – Fight For This Love

One year later the hitmaker took to the X Factor stage as a solo artist. Her epic live performance of debut number 1 single ‘Fight For This Love’ took the roof off the studio and blew away the watching audience. This performance cemented her status as a solo superstar;

3: 2010 – Promise This

In 2010 Cheryl made an epic return to the stage after a near death brush with Malaria to give a stand-out performance of number 1 hit ‘Promise This’. Her stellar performance was made even more special by the fact that only a few months before the singer was laid up in hospital in a critical condition. It proved her star quality, and fighting spirit;
