    Pop superstar Cheryl is well known for her extensive philanthropy work and back in 2015 she officially launched her own charity foundation in partnership with The Prince’s Trust. Cheryl’s Trust works alongside the charity to help vulnerable and disadvantaged young people living in the North East of England.

    Speaking about her trust at the launch, Cheryl said; “My life could have turned out very differently… I know how lucky I am. That’s why I am raising money to open the new Centre in Newcastle. I want to give back and help young people who feel like they’ll never achieve anything reach their dreams and live a happy life.”

    Since the launch two years ago the kindhearted singer has raised almost £2 million pounds through various projects and recently released a series of Lip Kits, and Eye Paints with L’Oreal Paris with a £1 from each sale going to the Trust.

    And now after years of fundraising the hitmaker is on the brink of opening her first youth centre in her hometown of Newcastle. The state of the art centre will work to help young people gain confidence, get their lives back on track, offer support, and help youngsters into work. The centre is due to open in the very near future and a sign in now on a wall on a building in the city centre.

    The sign was spotted by one of Cheryl’s “soldiers” Michael Docherty who shared the snap on Twitter;

    Can't believe how much I fanboyed over this…..@CherylOfficial. Couldn't be prouder! ? pic.twitter.com/Qm8UT4818g

    The superfan confirmed the sign is situated on the wall of a building on Blandford Square, opposite the Discovery Museum.
