It’s Friday. You know that means: new music from your favorite artists, as well as up-and-coming ones. Los Angeles-based artist Chlo, also known as Chlo Subia, knew of her musical talents before she was eighteen. She starred in musicals as a child and began writing songs at the age of 14. Her strong ambition and passion for music led her to perform on various stages across the country, as well as working with talented songwriters such as Tayla Parx (Ariana Grande, Christina Aguilera), Trey Campbell (Ella Mai, Bebe Rexha), and Brandon Skeie (Hayley Kiyoko, Liam Payne). She’s also worked with producers such as Tushar (BTS, Demi Lovato), Teal Douville (David Guetta, Panic! At The Disco), and most recently, Donut (Fergie, Juicy J) for her new single, “Blessings at Night,” off her upcoming EP Fool’s Gold.
She previously released her single, “Blondie,” in early April. Since its release, the single has been added to over 300 Spotify playlists and has accumulated 50K+ organic streams on the platform. “Blondie,” along with “Blessings At Night,” are teases of what’s to come on Chlo’s full EP, which will center on themes such as authenticity, frustration, pride, regret, passion, angst, and relationships.
The singer has yet to announce when her full EP will be made available, so until then, you can stream her other releases, including “Tired,” “5 Minutes,” “You We I,” below.
