Ahead of his performance at Sunday’s Super Bowl halftime show, Coldplay’s Chris Martin is the latest star to join James Corden for some ‘Carpool Karaoke’.
If you’ve never heard of ‘Carpool Karaoke’ then you’ve been living under a rock! As one of the most popular segments on James’ The Late Late Show, Chris follows in the footsteps of Adele, One Direction and Justin Bieber as the latest artist to take a sing-a-long trip with James in the car.
The whole segment will be aired on tonight’s The Late Late Show, but to whet our appetites, a teaser has been posted on YouTube! In the teaser, we see James heading out on a journey to the Super Bowl, when he drives past Chris who is hitchhiking a lift to the game.
The clip shows the pair singing along to ‘Adventure of a Lifetime’ and ‘Viva La Vida’ – no doubt the full segment will feature many more of Coldplay’s greatest hits as well as other surprises. Chris has a lot to live up to – James’ last ‘Carpool Karaoke’ featured Adele rapping Nicki Minaj’s ‘Monster’!
We’re looking forward to seeing this ‘Carpool Karaoke’, and it’s bound to make everyone even more excited for Coldplay’s half time show during the Super Bowl on Sunday, which will feature a collaboration with Beyoncé!
