Colton Underwood, former Bachelor, has been continuing to use his platform for good and capturing hearts around the world through his charitable work.
On June 30, 2019, Underwood completely took over the Prudential Center, home of the New Jersey Devils and countless international concert tours, in Newark, New Jersey, for his Legacy Bootcamp Fundraiser.
The reality star, philanthropist and influencer ran an hour-long bootcamp, along with two fitness professionals, in order to raise money for cystic fibrosis patients. The New Jersey Legacy Project’s recipient was a young woman named Amanda. Underwood has currently helped several children with cystic fibrosis in states all across the country. In fact, the Colton Underwood Legacy Foundation and AffloVest, a type of treatment for patients, have partnered to bring 50 cystic fibrosis patients “the latest CF treatment options.”

Through his events, such as the recent bootcamp in New Jersey, Underwood is able to raise money for his organization and continue to help those with cystic fibrosis. The event was a fun way to raise funds, get to know Underwood and learn a bit more about the foundation.
Underwood is also accepting applications to become a recipient of sponsored treatments in several states. Recipients are able to be nominated or apply online individually. As stated on his foundation’s website, applications will be considered “based upon physical and financial need, and the anticipated impact of the AffloVest on his or her quality of life.”

The fundraiser and bootcamp was a massive success. MusclePharm trainers made sure to keep the workout adaptable for everyone in attendance and communicate with Underwood about his ideas as well. There were photo opportunities prior to the workout and even a chance for attendees to ask the reality-star some questions too.
If you are unable to attend one of Underwood’s events for the Legacy Foundation, donations are also accepted online. Any amount counts and will help someone with cystic fibrosis.
