You’ve probably heard of Danish outfit Lukas Graham and their track 7 Years, with it spending it’s third week at Number One on the UK charts. Captivating, soulful and beautiful this track sings of their frontman becoming a good father and knowing what your dreams are. If you’re yet to hear this track, right now we’d recommend you go and see what the fuss is about!

Ahead of his support slot on The Vamps UK leg of their World Tour, Conor Maynard with the help of Caspar (sort of) have given their own unique take on the track. You might remember us raving over Conor’s previous cover of Stitches and 7 Years might have just stolen the title of our favourite cover by the man himself.

Conor has treated us to his unique take on the track, sticking to the heavily piano orientated backing his serenading vocals are reflective and send a shiver down our spine every time. Throwing in a twist comes with a snippet of Years & Years ‘Eyes Shut’ simply because ‘I also love years and years and eyes shut so I threw it in there because I’m a crazy muthaf**ka‘. Don’t worry Conor we completely get the Years & Years love!

If like us you’re wondering where Caspar comes into the mix, keep your eyes peeled right until the very ending of the track as he might be out of sight but definitely isn’t out of mind in this case.

Will Lukas Graham remain at number one in the UK charts this week? Will we ever get bored of listening to this cover?

Be sure to check out Conor’s cover below and tweet us @CelebMix or leave a comment below to tell us what you think of the track!
