Craig David certainly knows how to make an impact on New Music Friday! Not only has the RnB star dropped a new single, but he’s also confirmed details of his new studio album.
‘Heartline’ is first single to be taken from Craig’s forthcoming album, The Time Is Now, which is slated for release on January 26. Produced by Jonas Blue, ‘Heartline’ is another irresistible offering from Craig, which follows on from his previous single, ‘All We Needed’.
During the week, Craig sent his fans on an online scavenger hunt to find out the album tracklist. Fans were quick to follow his timely clues, and unveiled a 15-track deluxe offering which will include collaborations with the likes of JP Cooper, Bastille, and Chase & Status.

Discussing his next project, Craig has said in a statement: “If the last few years have taught me anything, it’s that life can change in a moment and you’ve gotta make the most it! By doing the simple things that enrich my heart, I’ve found the same magic that got me into making music as a kid.
“The only thing that matters NOW… making great music for you. This album is me going back to those days of simple story telling and waving the flag for UK R&B.”
Craig is also heading out on tour in November. Starting at the O2 Academy, Brixton on November 3, he will also visit The Warehouse Project, Manchester on November 4 before rounding off at Birmingham’s O2 Academy on November 5. You can access a ticket pre-sale by preordering the album.

We’re so excited for the new era of music from Craig David. He made a welcome return to the charts last year, with his comeback album Following My Intuition. The album went straight to number one, marking Craig’s first chart topper in 16 years.
