We have another song from Danny Dearden, this time he’s featured on Aexcit’s new song “Good To Go”. He’s really getting his name out there and we are loving every single release. This track follows up Aexcit’s cover of Dusty Springfield’s “Son of a Preacher Man” which featured Deni Hines, and Danny Dearden’s new version of “Us 4 Life” with Bobby Harvey.
Aexcit are a production and DJ duo from Germany, consisting of Alex Riederer and Thomas Weste. They were formed in 2014 and have a steady stream of addicting tracks that you totally need to immerse yourself in. Their most-streamed track on Spotify is the remix they did for Fake Pictures on the song “Two Princes” which has reached over 2 million streams. They keep building momentum with every song they release and we’re excited to see what the future brings to this duo.
As for Danny Dearden, he is a singer-songwriter, who was a contestant on the 11th series of The X Factor, where he made it to the Judges’ Houses stage. Since then, he has been gigging, writing, and releasing. He has taken leaps in his music career, lately, as he managed to feature on Michael Calfan’s track “It’s Wrong“; it is currently his most-streamed single, as it has amassed over 2 million streams on Spotify, with his recent collaboration with Erlandsson “Different Kind Of Love”, his feature on David Hopperman’s “Not Giving Up On You”, his feature on “One Love” by Diviners & ENV and his track “Take On The World” featuring The Holografik coming in second, third, fourth, and fifth, respectively. He has been in the studio writing with NXTGEN and will.i.am, and he has a lot of exciting new music on its way – which we cannot wait for.
According to Spotify, this new song has been written by Alexander Riederer, Danny Dearden, Jamie Harper, and Thomas Chaleco, and was produced by Aexcit. The dance track is on-form to both the artists’ releases and it’s one track we can’t stop playing.
The song’s lyrics tell the story of falling in love with someone so much that you just want to run away with them to beautiful dream-like places – the chorus really delves into these romantic settings that drift us away, wishing we were jetting off to somewhere amazing with the one we love. The drop comes right after the chorus and it’s typical yet unforgettable considering the rest of the track helps to paint the story of the song. The vocals are also on-point throughout, which is strong and totally enforces the story and the emotion of the track. We’re totally good to go to all these wonderful places!
