Are you ready for the upcoming, sixty-fourth Eurovision Song Contest? I guess we at CelebMix are more than ready!
Every year, we extremely look forward to the annual live extravaganza of multicultural entertainment that is Eurovision, and now it will be held in a very dynamic city, Tel-Aviv for the first time, with the Israeli Netta Barzilai being the winner of last year’s competition with her hit “Toy”.
So far, 39 countries have confirmed their participation in the worldwide event, but with just 200 days until the Grand Final, Jon Ola Sand, Executive Supervisor of the competition has revealed this year’s exciting and inspirational theme: “Dare to Dream”.
“This aspirational tagline represents and symbolises everything that the Eurovision Song Contest is about. It’s about inclusion. It’s about diversity. It’s about unity,” Jon said during the announcement.
The song contest traditionally gets a new slogan by the Host Broadcaster- and it’s a very important aspect of it. It is used as the creative foundation of the content’s visual identity, stage design, opening acts, interval acts and postcard production. Recent slogans include “We Are One” for Malmö in 2013, “Come Together” for Stockholm in 2016, “Celebrate Diversity” for Kiev in 2017 and “All Aboard” for Lisbon in 2018.

We certainly know that dreams do come true, and it seems like Israel wants to share the same thoughts with the whole world. They are convinced that to be on the big stage we have to be brave, strong and confident, also, it’s important to keep fighting for our dreams and never give up.
