Featuring William O’Halloran as guitarist, the cover allows for Dayl to showcase his incredible vocal abilities and is extremely well suited to his voice.
In December 2016, fans of HomeTown were left devastated when the band announced they would be taking a break to pursue their own solo ventures. Dayl appeared in the band alongside other members Josh Gray, Brendan Murray, Dean Gibbons, Ryan McLoughlin and Cian Morrin. The band were extremely well-known and supported artists including Olly Murs and The Vamps, whilst also headlining several of their own shows.
Despite taking a break from the music industry to appear on Irish dance show ‘Dancing With The Stars’ earlier this year, the cover shows that music is something that he remains passionate about.
The cover was extremely well received by fans, who described the cover as ‘unique’ while many also expressed how proud they were of Dayl.
Following the cover’s release, Dayl sent out a tweet of thanks to his followers, saying:
‘Ahhhhh thanks so much for all the love and support everyone!! I was really nervous putting it up not going to lie! Thank you all.’
