Russian-born, Los Angeles-based electronic music producer DIIIVA, aka Tanya Kachko, unveils her latest track, “React.”
DIIVA explains, “The creative process can be unpredictable, but that’s part of what makes it so exciting. It’s not always easy to know how things will turn out, but I’ve learned to embrace that uncertainty and trust my instincts. When I’m making music, I always try to keep an open mind and let my creativity lead the way.”
She goes on, “‘React’ is a reminder that inspiration can come from unexpected places and that trying new things can lead to exciting new discoveries.”
A classically trained violinist turned punk artist, DIIIVA derives inspiration from a wide range of musical landscapes. Pulling elements from classical harmonies and punchy rock bass lines, her unique pedigree positions her as the next trailblazer in EDM.
In 2021, several of her releases caught the attention of artists like Skrillex and JOYRYDE. Their cosign led to a remix of Ty Dolla $ign’s “Ego Death” and an EDC performance alongside JOYRYDE.
Over the last two years, DIIIVA has been stepping into her identity as an artist and refining her unique sound. The result: A momentous blend of bass heavy pop and trap.
DIIVA burst onto the scene in 2022, dropping two galvanizing singles, “Let Me Live My Life” and “Need Nobody.”
“React” opens on shape-shifting industrial-like tones rolling into a potent, vibrating rhythm featuring a massive, pulsating bassline and tight, crisp percussion. Churning, twirling harmonic leitmotifs imbue the tune with heady, luminous colors as stuttering layers of sound infuse taut, electrifying energy.
Brimming with raw sonic momentum and a volatile attitude, “React” projects sizzling EDM dynamics and waves of swaggering audacity.
