We have a brand new music video from Cassadee Pope. She teased it before she released this addictive track, “Take You Home“, but we didn’t quite know when to expect the visual. On April 9, 2018, she released this awesome video for the track and we can’t stop clicking the replay button.
She’s had quite the lengthy career in music, first starting off as the frontwoman in the band Hey Monday. She later popped up as a contestant on US version of The Voice season three, which she later went on to win. Since then, she’s headed down the country route, releasing a debut album Frame By Frame, and an EP Summer.
On March 30, Cassadee Pope released the brand new single “Take You Home“, having teased it previously in a video on her socials. In the video, she opened it with a snippet of a music video, which we didn’t get until April 9. Also in the video clip, Cassadee Pope talks about the song and the songwriters – who were Emily Weisband, Paul DiGiovanni, and Ben Hayslip.
The music video was directed by Justin Nolan Key. It’s a pure performance visual that shows Cassadee Pope in a sexy and confident manner as she sports a cropped jacket with her bobbed curled blonde-balayage hair hung loose with a few plaits on her right side. We think she looks super stylish and 100 percent on point in the visual.
The opening scene sees Cassadee Pope in the back of a car as rain pelts down on the window – this certainly takes us back to the downpour of rain found in “Wasting All These Tears”. She sings the song in the back of the car with high-end emotion, which she also brings to the performance segment. This is one female singer we would love to see live, she has a flair of energy that’s rare to find. The performance scenes are also intercut with a backing band.
