DISCOVER: Sergiu Bolota’s New Song and Video “We Were Young”

Sergiu Bolota has released this catchy new song titled “We Were Young”. It also has a sweet tranquil online music video too.

The song was written by Sergiu Bolota and Eurovision 2015 singer Stig Rasta; who represented Estonia, along with Elina Born, with their song “Goodbye To Yesterday“. They finished seventh in the Grand Final with 106 points.

“We Were Young” has been teased by Sergiu Bolota on social media for the past few weeks. It is an infectious song that is upbeat and totally catchy. It has been confirmed that he will compete in the Romanian national selection with this song.

Listen to Sergiu Bolota’s “We Were Young” Here:

The Milan Petki-directed online video shows three skaters rolling along a road on their skateboards. There are also scenes of a convertible car driving on a tree-lined road; a group of people having a party with party cannons and sparklers; scenic beauties; and Sergiu Bolota recording the song.

The online video easily captures the essence of the song. It’s about never growing old and keeping to your youth. The music, which comes from Vallo Kikas and Stig Rasta is full of energetic vibes which would sound amazing at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 if Romania were to select Sergiu Bolota as their representative.

As for the artist, Sergiu Bolota has two loves, one is music and the other is skating. He is the manager at skateboarding shop Benjamin.ro where he has worked since April 2016. On the music side of things, he has gigged all over Romania, and in March 2016, he dropped his first EP titled “Lumini EP” – translated into English means “Lights EP”. Now he’s ready to go international with his new single “We Were Young”.
