Determined to bring a bit of soul and rhythmic pop-rock to R&B is the incredible Tre. Charles with his new single “Lately.”. He has also released an accompanying music video which is thought-provoking and drives home the words of the song by also making it a lyric video, too. This release follows his previous single, “Redbone. (Odyssey Narratives Live Session)”.
Tre. Charles, real name Trey Horton, is a rising singer-songwriter who was born in NYC but now resides in NC. He has moved from city to city on the east coast his entire life, and this has led to him experiencing a variety of cultures which he is inspired by and, from which, he creates his distinctive sound from – this explains his ability to flood songs with so much emotion and heartfelt spirit. He has recently gained endorsement from D’angelico Guitars as an official artist, in addition to endorsements with Clock and Colours and Blundstone Footwear. In 2021, he dropped his debut single, “Stressin.”, which has gone on to gain hundreds of thousands of Spotify streams, and in 2022, he was nominated for the best RnB artist accolade by the Carolina Music Awards and won Virginia’s Favourite Award at the Richmond International Film Festival. 2023 will see him gear up to releasing his debut EP, “Currently.”, by teasing the collection of tracks with the release of “Lately.”
