16 year old Donel Mangena put on his biggest performance to date last night, just weeks after finishing as runner up on The Voice UK.
The charismatic performer joined a host of big name acts to perform at The Queen‘s 92nd birthday concert at The Royal Albert Hall, after receiving a letter of invitation from Prince Harry during his time in the competition.

Introduced by the Prince as a ‘star of the future’, Donel gave a confident and energetic performance of Pharrell’s ‘Happy’, looking and sounding every inch of the superstar he’s meant to be. Judging by the reaction on social media, viewers were just as enamoured with Donel as we were.

What’s not to like about the young man @officialdonel. Will be a massive star soon. Like the fact he uses Ndebele in some of his songs. Respect. #Queensbirthdayparty
