Dua Lipa is the rising star of the moment. Since the release of her self-titled debut album, her fanbase hasn’t stopped expanding and, thanks to her latest single New Rules, she’s well and truly made her mark on the music industry.
The song has become a break-up anthem for music lovers across the globe and it seems nobody can get its catchy chorus out of their head. The track has racked up almost 100 million streams on Spotify and the iconic music video has had over 130 million views. The song also scored Dua her first number one on the UK Singles Chart and it’s showing no signs of dropping from the top spot. This isn’t just a one week number one, oh no, because New Rules has claimed the top spot again for a SECOND week!

The Hotter Than Hell songstress received even more good news today after it was revealed that her album is now a Silver seller in the UK! There is just no stopping this girl.
Despite New Rules being the sixth release from Dua’s first album, her label boss recently revealed there are “at least” two more singles to come off it. Warner Bros UK President Phil Christie has praised Dua’s hard work since the start of her career but said this is only the beginning:
“This is the sixth single off that record, so to have a Number 1 with single six is rare but it’s still just a jumping off point, we’re just at the beginning of this campaign really hitting its stride.”
“We’ve got at least another two singles to come off this record, which is a testament to the quality of the album.”
