Welsh songstress Duffy has returned to Instagram, to share her ‘passing thoughts’ with her fans.
She recently returned to the social media platform to share a short statement:
“Summer is almost setting and it felt a good time to say hi, maybe I’m nostalgic for the changing of seasons.
How are you all?
I’m doing good. Hope to see more of you in the future – if just to sit and talk, sing, discuss or however it turns out.”
And today, 3rd October, Duffy shared eight Instagram squares which each had a quote on, in her own words.
Some of the titles of the quotes included love, music, heart acceptance and more.
Here’s some of our favourites:
Many of Duffy’s fans were thrilled to see her return and were fascinated by her words.
One commented “I love and miss you Duffy. Hope to see you return to music one day”
Another writing “As I’m feeling hardship right now. It brightens my day to read a post of this nature by you. Thank you”
Duffy rose to fame in 2008 with her debut album Rockferry, which was number one in many countries. Her hit singles include ‘Mercy’, ‘Warwick Avenue’ and ‘Rain On Your Parade’. Since then, the star has went on to sell millions of records, won numerous BRITS, a Grammy and has performed all over the world.
