The ‘legend’ star, Ed Sheeran is ready to start working on new music – and is looking far and wide for inspiration!

Fans may still be jamming out to all of Ed Sheeran’s hits from ‘X’ but it’s believed the star is already planning his next record… and will be travelling MUCH further afield this time and is stoked to do so!

The ‘Thinking Out Loud’ star is known for his gifted voice and his impeccable songwriting skills. (He’s also a total babe.) Not only that but his fans absolutely adore him. Critics say that Ed Sheeran’s new album might have a new flavor on the fan’s sides and that Ed’s a bit nervous, but definitely ready to try something new. CelebMix has the scoop on what Ed Sheeran’s been planning.
The UK  sensation  is heading to Ghana to record new music as part of a career adventure in Africa. Ed Sheeran said he is looking for “inspiration” for his upcoming music and believes the ambiance in Ghana could help inspire his new project and broaden his horizons. The ‘Thinking Out Loud’ star wants to sound COMPLETELY different from his previous records ‘+’ and ‘X’.
A source has revealed to The Sun that “[Ed Sheeran will] include sounds and influences from around the world, particularly Africa”
“It’s obviously a little bit out of Ed’s comfort zone, but he is all about experimenting and trying new things.”
This was reportedly inspired by Blur and Gorillaz front-man Damon Albarn’s ongoing African Express, which has had Western and African musicians collaborating and performing live shows since early 2006. In 2013 it released its first album called African Express Presents: Maison Des Jeunes, featuring Mali musicians alongside Brian Eno,Nick Zinner of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Idris Elba of The Wire and Luther fame.
Ed got in touch with Damon [Albarn] after seeing his work with African musicians and he has given him some good advice,” the sun added.
So What do you think about Ed Sheeran’s supposedly new inspiration’s for his next album? Do you think Ed  Sheeran will slay the charts with his supposedly new upcoming album? Tweet us your answers @CelebMix and don’t forget to follow us!!
