Edith’s releases moody new single ‘Don’t Wanna Think’

For fans of Dua Lipa and Mabel, Edith’s deep pop sound glistens on new single ‘Don’t Wanna Think’, CelebMix premieres…

Coming at you on the 15th March, Edith’s new single ‘Don’t Wanna Think’ is a moody, heartbreak-flick with all the hallmarks of the next big pop name.

With deep, raspy vocals and smooth electronic production, Edith is pressing all the right buttons. Working with The Sonic Crew (Idris Elba, Diplo, Lethal Bizzle), it’s clear what direction the unique young singer is heading in.

Naming current artists such as LANY, Troye Sivan and Dua Lipa as inspirations, it’s exactly that ambient bedroom vibe that fills the charts today.

Speaking about ‘Don’t Wanna Think’, Edith says:

Don’t Wanna Think is an incredibly significant song for me, it was written at just 16, when I was experiencing a lot of new feelings for the first time. The message behind the song is that no matter how much we know someone isn’t right for us, or someone hurt us our hearts still crave the feeling of them being with us, so we struggle to let go. Sometimes we struggle to let go of the memories, the feeling and all because we get used to having someone there for us. I never knew how I really felt about the relationship until I wrote this song, then it all made sense to me.”
