Eleni Foureira is set to represent Cyprus at Eurovision Song Contest 2018

It seems that participants are going to have tough competition at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest. Cyprus has finally announced its representative and she is someone most people will definitely look forward to.

Eline Foureira has been announced as Cyprus’ representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2018. The announcement was made by Cypriot broadcaster RiK.

Foureira is a singer, actress and a fashion designer whose works have been received well by both audiences and critics in Greece. The artist was the part of a group called Mystique but she later embarked on a solo career after the group disbanded.

The broadcaster also revealed that Foureira will be performing in Lisbon with the single “Feugo”. While the song has been confirmed, the release date for the single is yet to be revealed.

Eleni is not new to the selection process. In the year 2010, she came second and missed her dream of participating at Eurovision. In the year 2013, she did not participate but performed along with Ruslana for her single “Wild Dances”.

Now that she has finally gotten a chance, it will be interesting to see if Eleni will be able to get Eurovision trophy for Cyprus or not.
