Five years after the release of her debut album, Ella Henderson is back!

The singer, best known for her hit singles Ghost and Mirror Man, has appeared on a number of tracks in recent years, including the smash-hit Glitterball with Sigma and Here for You with Kygo.

The former X Factor star, who competed in the same series as James Arthur, also featured on the Artists for Grenfell track Bridge Over Troubled Water, and recently unveiled a new collaboration, ‘This Is Real’ with Jax Jones, off of his star-studded debut album Snacks.

Almost five years since the launch of her debut album Chapter One, Ella is returning with a brand new EP, ‘Glorious,’ released via Major Toms/Asylum on November 8. It’s available to pre-order now and includes four new songs, including title-track Glorious.

If you can’t wait until November to hear Ella’s music, fear not: Glorious is the lead single from her body of work, and it’s available to stream on all platforms from today.

This empowering new track is classic Ella Henderson, showcasing her uniquely soulful and emotional voice backed up with her signature songwriting.

It’s an exciting first taste of her new musical direction, and we can’t wait to hear what else she has in store for us on her EP.

In typical Ella style, the song tackles issues of self-doubt, body image and the fleeting nature of youth, an autobiographical look at Ella’s past five years as she’s battled to release new music and navigate her new life as a celebrity in today’s trying times.

Speaking of the new track, Ella said: “Writing ‘Glorious’ was a mind-cleansing moment for me. It represents the first time I truly began to start celebrating everything I used to live in fear of.

“Learning to accept and love yourself for who you are can be difficult in this day and age. ‘Glorious’ stands for everything we should feel about ourselves – empowered and proud.”

Glorious – the EP – is available to stream from November 8 on all major platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music. Stay tuned for more on Ella Henderson right here on CelebMix.
